• apply to level ii, level i nurse/midwife job description
• provide family centered maternity care based on relevant policies and procedures
• carry out hospital maternity care policies and procedures
• provide total patient care and supervision to the lower level nurses, midwives
• ensure that the hospital’s policy and procedure has been carried out properly when head nurse is absent.
• assist the head nurse in the areas which should be focused on to meet their needs
• maintain the quality nursing
• interact with own staff, physicians and other department’s staff
• able to act as charge nurse at department level
• works as key player in specific nursing expertise
• able to assist head nurse to provide training for new staff
• able to work as team leader when head nurse is absent
任职资格
performance requirements
• minimal education requirement- polytechnic school nursing graduated
• minimal experience requirement -5 years working experience in nursing
capable to take care of critical patients and emergency cases at least 5 years nursing experience in related departments 5-10 years midwifery experience in labor and delivery room
• licensing needed– rn in china, midwifery license.

• good communication skills in english and chinese
• excellent nursing skills based on clinical needs
• excellent midwifery skills
• capable in organizing and leading the nursing team
knowledge:
• understand the hospital policies
• understand department policies and procedures
• adequate nursing knowledge in general
• excellent knowledge in maternity care
