- Ensure the order is accurately entered in the SAP system/relevant IT business system and progressed
- Provide timely and accurate information about the order and delivery to the customer and affiliates
- Check product availability and liaising with factories to ensure fulfilment of the order on the customer's required
delivery date
- Creatively identify possible solutions in the event of insufficient product availability
- Ensure compliance with Croda's credit control policy
- promptly, firmly but politely inform customers of any credit or account issues that are preventing acceptance or
progression of an order
- Keep customers informed of any changes in the timing of their orders due to production or other problems
- Help to reduce slow moving stock and working capital by regularly reviewing concessionable stock and offering
this stock to suitable customers
- Help to maximise revenue collection by regularly reviewing blocked and out-standing orders
- Support improvement of the order fulfilment process by raising issues and contributing suggestions at Team
and Department meetings
- Promptly deal with any complaints a customer may raise and Assist in resolution of related Customer
complaints included transport ones
- In some location’s role holders may also carry out some logistic related activities
- Prepare, maintain, communicate, and coordinate shipment documentation covering diverse service
requirements
- Manage the daily relationship with external companies (UK
