该岗位为3年期的岗位,支持博茨瓦纳Khoemacau铜矿扩建项目。
The Warehouse Controller is responsible for managing and overseeing warehouse operations at the KCM mine site in Botswana. This includes inventory control, material handling, storage, and distribution to ensure the efficient flow of goods and materials required for the mine expansion project. The role ensures compliance with safety standards, optimizes warehouse processes, and supports project timelines and operational goals.
Responsibilities:
• Warehouse Operations Management:
o Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials.
o Ensure proper organization, labelling, and storage of goods to optimize space and accessibility.
o Implement and enforce safety protocols for warehouse operations.
• Inventory Control:
o Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
o Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
o Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to meet project demands.
• Material Handling and Distribution:
o Ensure timely and accurate distribution of materials to project teams and departments.
o Coordinate with logistics teams to manage incoming and outgoing shipments.
o Track and document material movements within the warehouse and to the site.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
o Ensure warehouse operations comply with company policies, local regulations, and safety standards.
o Identify and mitigate risks related to warehouse operations, such as damage, theft, or environmental hazards.
• Process Optimization:
o Continuously review and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
o Implement best practices for material handling and storage.
• Reporting and Documentation:
o Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, warehouse operations, and material distribution.
o Maintain accurate records of materials received, stored, and dispatched.
• Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with procurement, logistics, and project teams to align warehouse operations with project requirements.
o Provide updates and recommendations to management on warehouse-related issues and improvements.
Position Required Capabilities

Knowledge:
• In-depth understanding of storage and inventory management best practices.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations for material handling and storage.
• Familiarity with mining industry materials and equipment is preferred.
Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in storage, inventory management, or logistics, preferably in a mining or industrial environment.
• Proven track record of managing storage operations and leading teams.
Education, Qualifications, Tickets, Licences:
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in inventory management or logistics (e.g., APICS, CILT) are preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is a preferred.
• Forklift operation certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of ERP systems for inventory management is preferred.
